Poros : The vintage isle with a pine-green charm

Experience the vintage charm of Poros maintown, the islands neoclassical buildings ascend the town’s hill like seats in an amphitheatre. Enjoy a picturesque lunch in the Punta neighborhood of Poros port. Unwind on the tranquil shores of Moni Island, surrounded by breathtaking scenery and diverse wildlife and enjoy a morning swim in Aegina’s hidden bays.

Proposed Itinerary​

  • The first stop is Klima beach, also known as “Kleidi”, one of the hidden secrets of Aegina island and mostly preffered by the “insiders” of the island. Put your mask on and plunge into the clear turquoise waters. 
  • Then, set sail for the island of Poros and anchor in the Russian Bay which is reputedly the best beach on the island. The Russian Bay is renowned for its major historical importance, as it is the place where the first Russian ships docked to help the Greeks during the War of Revolution against the Ottomans. We also stop at the nearby islet of Daskalio (or “Eros”), with a quaint chapel on top. 
  • Then, dock in the port of Poros and enjoy lunch in the Punta neighbourhood, a picturesque fishermen’s corner. 
  • In the afternoon, after a short cruise, anchor in the tranquil shores of Moni, a small island a few miles away from Aegina. There, you can unwind and have a drink or hike amidst breathtaking scenery and encounter a variety of wildlife, including deer, Kri-Kri goats, squirrels, peacocks, and falcons. Finally, on the journey back, enjoy a stunning sunset creating a perfect finale to your trip.
