Spetses : The Cosmopolitan Gem of the Saronic Gulf
Off to Spetses, one of Greece’s most cosmopolitan and picturesque destinations, perfect for carefree strolls in its quaint town. Enjoy a morning swim in its blue-green waters and hidden gems. Explore the islands Spathi, Skyli and Gali (Tselevinia) and enjoy a majestic sunset surrounded by crystal-clear waters and lush greenery.
Proposed Itinerary
- Depart from Athens and after a two-hour cruise, arrive at the island of Spetses. For a morning swim, we anchor in the Bekiri Cave close to Agioi Anargiri beach, the so-called “cave of filmmakers and lovers.” The blue-green water, stalactites, and stalagmites in strange shapes form a beautiful environment. The cave is preferred by the “insiders” of the island and is mainly accessible by boat.
- Then, dock in the port of Spetses and enjoy a Mediterranean lunch at some of the finest restaurants. Take a leisurely walk afterwards, along the coastal side. Spetses is a car-free island, making it perfect for exploring on foot.
